Renowned scientist Jane Goodall Expressed Desire to Send Musk and Trump on Single-Journey Trip to Space
After spending decades studying chimpanzee actions, Jane Goodall became an authority on the aggressive tendencies of alpha males. In a recently released interview recorded shortly before her death, the renowned primatologist revealed her unique solution for dealing with certain individuals she viewed as exhibiting similar characteristics: transporting them on a one-way journey into space.
Final Documentary Reveals Candid Thoughts
This extraordinary insight into Goodall's thinking emerges from the Netflix film "Final Words", which was captured in March and kept private until after her latest passing at the age of 91.
"There are persons I dislike, and I wish to place them on a SpaceX vessel and dispatch them to the planet he's certain he's going to discover," remarked Goodall during her discussion with the interviewer.
Particular Personalities Mentioned
When inquired whether Elon Musk, known for his controversial gestures and political alliances, would be part of this group, Goodall replied positively.
"Certainly, without doubt. He would be the organizer. You can imagine the people I would place on that vessel. Together with Musk would be Donald Trump and various Trump's dedicated followers," she announced.
"Furthermore I would put Vladimir Putin in there, and I would include China's leader. I'd certainly put Israel's prime minister in there and his political allies. Put them all on that spaceship and send them off."
Previous Criticism
This wasn't the first time that Goodall, a champion of ecological preservation, had voiced concerns about the political figure specifically.
In a earlier conversation, she had observed that he exhibited "the same sort of behavior as a male chimpanzee exhibits when vying for supremacy with another. They stand tall, they strut, they present themselves as significantly bigger and aggressive than they really are in order to daunt their rivals."
Leadership Styles
During her posthumous documentary, Goodall further explained her analysis of alpha personalities.
"We get, interestingly, two categories of leader. The first achieves dominance all by aggression, and since they're powerful and they battle, they don't endure indefinitely. Others do it by using their brains, like an aspiring leader will only challenge a higher ranking one if his friend, typically a relative, is with him. And you know, they remain far more extended periods," she explained.
Social Interactions
The famous researcher also studied the "social dimension" of behavior, and what her detailed observations had taught her about hostile actions shown by human communities and apes when faced with something they considered hostile, despite the fact that no risk really was present.
"Chimps observe a stranger from an adjacent group, and they become highly agitated, and their fur bristles, and they reach out and make physical contact, and they show visages of hostility and apprehension, and it spreads, and the others adopt that emotion that one member has had, and they all become aggressive," she explained.
"It spreads rapidly," she noted. "Various exhibitions that turn aggressive, it permeates the group. Everyone desires to become and join in and turn violent. They're protecting their domain or competing for dominance."
Comparable Human Reactions
When questioned if she thought comparable behaviors were present in human beings, Goodall responded: "Likely, in certain situations. But I strongly feel that the bulk of humanity are ethical."
"My primary aspiration is raising the upcoming generation of compassionate citizens, foundations and growth. But do we have time? I'm uncertain. It's a really grim time."
Historical Perspective
Goodall, a London native five years before the commencement of the World War II, equated the fight against the darkness of current political landscape to England opposing the Third Reich, and the "unyielding attitude" exhibited by the British leader.
"This doesn't imply you don't have moments of depression, but then you come out and say, 'OK, I refuse to allow their success'," she commented.
"It's similar to the leader during the conflict, his iconic words, we shall combat them along the shores, we will resist them through the avenues and metropolitan centers, afterward he commented to an associate and was heard to say, 'and we'll fight them using the fragments of shattered glass as that's the only thing we truly have'."
Parting Words
In her last message, Goodall shared inspiring thoughts for those resisting authoritarian control and the environmental crisis.
"In current times, when the world is difficult, there remains optimism. Preserve faith. Should optimism fade, you become unresponsive and take no action," she recommended.
"Should you want to protect the existing splendor in this world – if you want to save the planet for subsequent eras, your descendants, their offspring – then consider the decisions you implement every day. Because, expanded numerous, a billion times, minor decisions will create substantial improvement."
